Tragic Family Conflict: Father Attacks Daughter Over Love Affair

In a shocking incident, a man allegedly attacked his teenage daughter with a knife due to her romantic involvement with a local man, authorities reported on Friday.

The attack took place in Ruhasa village under the jurisdiction of Daurala police station. The victim, 19-year-old Taiyaba, had left home with her partner, which allegedly provoked her father, Altaf, to violence.

Police revealed the attack occurred late Thursday night while Taiyaba was asleep. Despite attempts to escape, she was caught and stabbed multiple times. The attack was interrupted by local residents who rushed to the scene, causing the assailant to flee. Taiyaba was initially treated at the Daurala Community Health Centre before being transferred to a district hospital. Authorities are actively searching for the suspect as investigations continue.
