The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed charges against five individuals tied to a human trafficking and cyber slavery case involving Indian youths in Cambodia, officials announced on Saturday.

Anand Kumar Singh, also known as Munna Singh, is identified as the mastermind behind the operation. He, along with four others, has been named in the chargesheet submitted to the NIA special court in Patna, Bihar.

The NIA's investigation reveals that Singh recruited youths in India, coordinating with associates in Cambodia. Upon arrival, victims were forced into scams and subjected to torture. Efforts to uncover the full scope of the operation are ongoing.
