Maharashtra's Census 2027: A Digital Leap in Self-Enumeration

In a significant stride toward digital enumeration, more than 11.14 lakh households across Maharashtra have successfully completed the self-enumeration process for Census 2027, as per official reports.
The initiative, running from May 1 to 15, enabled residents to input their details through a user-friendly online portal. This effort comes under the umbrella of the House-Listing and Housing Census Operations. Notably, Pune led the participation, with over 1.53 lakh households recording their information.
While the digital transition has garnered substantial participation, officials assured that enumerators will visit all households between May 16 to June 14 for traditional data collection, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
