The younger sister consumed pesticide after climbing a village water tank on May 15, asserting she and her elder sibling had suffered years of sexual abuse. Despite their persistent complaints, local law enforcement allegedly ignored their pleas. The elder sister had also taken her life on March 20 under similar distress.
The case has sparked widespread protests and calls for immediate justice, with two suspects arrested and efforts underway to apprehend the remaining accused.
