Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal strongly defended party leader Deepak Singla following Singla's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on allegations of money laundering. The ED's recent raids in Delhi and Goa unveiled documents allegedly linking Singla to financial misconduct.
Kejriwal argued that Singla's detainment is politically motivated, stating it stemmed from his refusal to join the BJP. Kejriwal expressed solidarity with Singla, calling him a 'brave' individual who is fighting for national interests.
Similarly, Kejriwal lauded arrested Punjab minister Sanjeev Arora, who faces charges related to a Rs 100 crore GST fraud. Kejriwal praised Arora's patriotism, emphasizing that Punjab stands firmly behind him amidst the legal battle.
