Swift Police Action Saves Abducted Girl in Jammu and Kashmir

An eight-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district but swiftly rescued by police within two hours. The incident unfolded on Monday when the child was reportedly abducted while on her way to school.
Following a complaint lodged at the Rehambal police station, officials acted immediately. An FIR was registered, prompting a high-priority investigation. Within hours, police intercepted a suspect vehicle at Khoon-Battal and safely rescued the minor while arresting three individuals.
Among those detained are Ganja Singh from Ramban and Reeta Devi and Deep Ram from Himachal Pradesh. Although the child has been reunited with her family, investigations continue to determine the kidnapping's motive and any additional accomplices. Authorities commended the police for their prompt and coordinated efforts.
