Supreme Court Backs Election Commission's Special Voter Roll Review Powers

The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the Election Commission's authority to carry out a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls. The Court endorsed this procedure, highlighting its importance in reinforcing the constitutional mandate to ensure elections are fair and just.
