Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has intensified his criticism of the government concerning the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, urging an independent investigation into what he calls a 'scam'.
Gandhi questioned the awarding of the CBSE contract to COEMPT, previously known as Globarena, which has been accused of similar issues in Telangana. With a call to action for affected students and parents to demand accountability, Gandhi stressed the need for transparency and accountability from the Modi government.
The Congress party echoed his sentiment, demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation following discrepancies reported by Class 12 students. Despite student outrage over potential errors in their exam evaluations, Gandhi claims the government remains silent.
CBSE, meanwhile, is reportedly addressing the mounting concerns from students and parents, aiming to resolve their complaints as swiftly as possible.
