Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Brother Over Meerut Land Conflict

A dispute over land in Meerut has resulted in a tragic incident, as a man has been detained for allegedly shooting his younger brother and burying him in a field. The unfortunate event was reported by the deceased's aunt, who brought the matter to the attention of local authorities.

The case came to light when Jagbeeri, the victim's maternal aunt, informed the police of her suspicions that her nephew, Ankur, had fallen victim to his elder brother Kapil. Ankur had reportedly been missing since May 5. Kapil is accused of confessing to the crime post-detainment, providing details of the burial site to police, who are now working with forensic experts to recover the body and gather evidence.

Local law enforcement, taking swift action on the information provided, have charged Kapil with murder. Authorities continue to probe all aspects surrounding the case.
