Telangana's chief announced plans for a 'unified welfare card' that will compile information on government scheme benefits available to each citizen. This initiative aims to simplify access to benefits by providing a comprehensive welfare profile and linking diverse data sources, including health records.

During a meeting with top officials, he advocated for the incorporation of artificial intelligence to enhance scheme transparency and efficiency. The card will also be linked to the Telangana SEEEPC survey, enabling accurate beneficiary identification. Additionally, the new system aims to reduce unauthorized migrant worker interventions by centralizing skill training and migration documentation.
