Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has instructed state officials to hasten efforts to enhance infrastructure throughout the region. Prioritizing ports, airports, and fishing harbors, he urged setting strict schedules to ensure timely progress.
In a comprehensive review at the State Secretariat, Naidu examined the status of port development in Mulapeta, Ramayapatnam, and Machilipatnam. The session also highlighted the advancement of fishing harbors in Juvvaladinne and Nizampatnam. Discussing airports proposed for Dagadarthi, Kuppam, and Srikakulam, Naidu addressed necessities like land procurement and regulatory approvals.
A focus was put on strengthening the state-run transport sector, APSRTC, through efficient asset use and investment in electric buses. Naidu called for aligning infrastructure projects with the urgency seen in irrigation and industrial sector expansion, emphasizing strict adherence to project timelines.
Naidu's agenda included ensuring that major industries establish operations swiftly, targeting an 18-month grounding period. He highlighted the importance of organized fund mobilization and ongoing project monitoring to avoid holdups.
