Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra orchestrated a special prayer ceremony on Thursday for the Indian Armed Forces at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, emphasizing strength in their global fight against terrorism. Vijayendra highlighted the BJP's intent to seek divine support for eliminating terrorism worldwide.
The initiative, sparked by the success of 'Operation Sindoor', saw the Karnataka government mandating special prayers across state temples. The renowned Nimishambha temple in Srirangapatna began special offerings, with priests dedicating the first rituals to soldier protection and safety.
Further prayers were held at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak temple, acknowledging the military operation's achievements. Maxar Technologies' satellite imagery, accessed by Reuters, revealed extensive damage to terrorist bases in Pakistan, achieved by India's precision strikes targeting JeM and LeT strongholds in retaliation for the Pahalgam attack.
