In a pointed critique, CPI(M) leader John Brittas has called out Prime Minister Narendra Modi for missing a significant all-party meeting in the wake of Operation Sindoor. Brittas pressed the government to prioritize border safety and embrace diplomacy to tackle terrorism effectively.
Expressing skepticism over the government's claims of victory against terrorism, Brittas cited past experiences suggesting military actions may not succeed in isolating and eliminating terror groups. He stressed the need for continued diplomatic endeavors and international pressure to prevent escalation.
Meanwhile, opposition parties united in commendation of the government's military action, following Defense Minister Rajnath Singh's report of the elimination of over 100 terrorists during strikes on Pakistani terror bases. The session underscored the collective resolve to contain terrorism.
