Wine, formally known as Robert Kyagulanyi, expressed his intent to run and criticized the lack of international response to Uganda's human rights issues, claiming Western nations prioritize business over human rights.
In a recent interview, Wine underscored his commitment to galvanizing public demand for political change while reiterating his past allegations of electoral misconduct in the 2021 election.
