UP CM Yogi Adityanath Launches Development Projects, Praises BrahMos Integration

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has unveiled significant public welfare initiatives in Gorakhpur, marking a significant stride towards its transformation into a smart city. The projects include the inauguration of a new Urban Facilitation Centre and a Senior Citizen Day Care Centre, both aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.
Expressing his congratulations during the launch, CM Yogi highlighted the importance of these facilities in catering to the community's needs. He emphasized that true progress is only achieved when it benefits the populace directly, reinforcing his administration's commitment to development that impacts people positively.
In a separate event, the Chief Minister commended the establishment of the BrahMos Missile Integration Unit in Lucknow. This facility, part of the Defence Industrial Corridor initiative, will enhance India's defense capabilities by producing supersonic cruise missiles domestically, thus aligning with the Make-in-India initiative. CM Yogi underscored the need for vigilance against anti-national activities and stressed the importance of national security.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also lauded the development, describing the BrahMos unit as a historic move toward India becoming a defense superpower. He acknowledged the contributions of PM Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and the scientists and engineers of DRDO in realizing this landmark achievement.
