Biju Janata Dal (BJD) chief Naveen Patnaik departed for Mumbai on Friday, where he is scheduled to undergo surgery for cervical arthritis. The procedure will take place on June 22 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, under the coordination of his personal doctor, Dr. Ramakant Panda.
A significant number of senior BJD leaders and party supporters congregated at Biju Patnaik International Airport to extend their heartfelt wishes to Patnaik for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. The gathering reflected the deep emotional connection that the people of Odisha have with their chief minister.
In a social media post, Patnaik expressed optimism and gratitude for the support, stating that he is eager to return to Odisha to continue his service.
