Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, during a recent address, underscored the BJP-led Union Government's dedication to improving welfare schemes for tribal communities, affirming Prime Minister Narendra Modi's focus on mountain regions. Rijiju highlighted the road construction projects from Kaza to Keylong, aimed at enhancing Himachal Pradesh's connectivity with National Highways.

"Various schemes have been introduced for tribals and minorities, especially targeting the youth," Rijiju remarked, while also mentioning former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur's cooperation in launching a sewerage initiative in Keylong. Rijiju's tour included visiting Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti, where he laid the foundation for multiple schemes benefiting local communities.

Rijiju further announced planned visits to Himachal Pradesh's districts, including Chamba, Solan, and Una. His four-day tour concluded with a stop in Kullu, where he was warmly welcomed by local BJP members and administrative officials. Meanwhile, Revenue and Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi reported significant disruptions caused by severe rainfall, including landslides and power outages across several districts.
