Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari stated his readiness to resign if Chief Minister Mohan Yadav can substantiate the allegations against him. The charges stem from an FIR related to an incident involving a young man from the Lodhi community.
Accused of spreading societal discord and caste tensions, Patwari was booked after sharing a video on social media. The police claim the allegations of faeces-feeding were unfounded. However, Patwari insists the youth approached him, seeking help.
Patwari criticized local authorities, accusing them of political bias. 'If there is any proof of my wrongdoing, I'll step down,' he asserted, likening each FIR against him to a 'medal'.
