Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has been appointed as the incharge of the party's Goa unit, following the unavailability of Pankaj Gupta due to illness. Atishi, a prominent figure in the party, takes over as the party aims to strengthen its presence in the region before the 2027 Assembly elections.
The announcement was made by AAP's National General Secretary (Organisation) Sandeep Pathak, who expressed his best wishes for Atishi in her new role. AAP, seeking to expand its influence outside Delhi and Punjab, views Goa as a strategic location for growth.
