India's strategy against cross-border terrorism has seen a dramatic shift under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to former Union Minister Anurag Thakur. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Thakur emphasized that the government's zero-tolerance policy has established a new doctrine, reshaping the country's national security approach.
During a special discussion on Operation Sindoor, Thakur praised the Indian Army's swift and effective response following the Pahalgam attack. In mere 25 minutes, Indian forces executed 24 targeted strikes, dismantling nine terrorist camps and eliminating over 100 terrorists. 'We no longer just compile dossiers; we take decisive action,' he declared.
Thakur criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for undermining national security consensus, suggesting that his alignment with enemy narratives contrasts sharply with the Modi government's proactive measures. Highlighting the destruction of significant Pakistani military infrastructure, Thakur asserted that the government's forceful actions reflect a sharp departure from previous administrations' strategies.
