Shinde Challenges Gandhi's 'Vote Theft' Allegations: 'Provide Proof or Apologize'

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has challenged Rahul Gandhi's 'vote theft' allegations, asserting that the Congress leader should present evidence to the court or the Election Commission if he has any.

Shinde, a Shiv Sena leader, condemned Gandhi's remarks as 'baseless', claiming they insult the people of Maharashtra who elected the ruling coalition. He emphasized the need for tangible proof instead of 'wild allegations'.

Following Gandhi's charges of poll fraud and voter list manipulation, the Election Commission has requested a signed declaration from him, urging him to either substantiate his allegations or issue an apology for recycling previously settled claims.
