Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, on Tuesday, initiated the 'Adhikar Yatra' aimed at addressing youth unemployment, enhancing women's rights, respecting teachers, and improving Bihar's health and education system. According to RJD MP Sanjay Yadav, the march targets districts previously missed during the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' led by Congress' Rahul Gandhi, which also saw RJD participation.
Tejashwi Yadav's decision to undertake this rally stems from appeals by district workers and leaders, who felt excluded. Emphasizing a new vision for Bihar, the RJD legislator expressed hopes for job creation, industrial development, and a corruption-free administration. The journey began in Jehanabad and will conclude on September 20 in Vaishali, passing through Begusarai, Khagaria, and Madhepura.
Amid speculations about the INDIA bloc's chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming assembly elections, the RJD MP reaffirmed Tejashwi Yadav's widespread support. He assured that seat-sharing discussions are underway and progressing smoothly. Meanwhile, BJP leader Giriraj Singh critiqued the Yatra, urging Tejashwi's family to appreciate the state's development under NDA guidance. Competition between NDA and INDIA bloc intensifies as elections loom, with significant assembly representation by both alliances
