In a fiery address to Bhadrachalam constituency leaders and activists at Telangana Bhavan, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) declared Telangana by-elections as inevitable and predicted a decisive defeat for the ruling Congress. He focused his criticism on Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy for unanswered questions surrounding Enforcement Directorate raids on his residence last year.

Challenging the Congress, KTR urged them to admit defections and face by-elections. "If Congress has the courage, let them declare these MLAs in their party and face by-elections. But the truth is simple—by-elections cannot be avoided," he said. He further ridiculed Reddy, likening his rise to minister to "winning a lucky lottery" and questioned his silence on the ED raids.

Accusing Congress of unholy alliances with central agencies and the BJP, KTR called it "shameful politics" but assured that BRS, with people's support, would continue to fight for Telangana's self-respect. He admitted to BRS's past communication errors but expressed confidence in returning to power under KCR's leadership, comparing it to Lord Rama's return from exile.
