Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has firmly dismissed assertions by US President Donald Trump about his role in mediating the Indo-Pak conflict, specifically following Operation Sindoor. Singh clarified that actions against terrorism were not halted due to any external intervention.
Addressing the gathering at the 'Hyderabad Liberation Day', Singh reinforced that Operation Sindoor would recommence if any terrorist activities were to be resurrected. His comments aimed to address doubts regarding the ceasefire and to assert that India's operations were independent of foreign influence.
Singh pointed to remarks by Pakistan's Deputy PM Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who also indicated that India had rejected any third-party interference in the matter, aligning with Prime Minister Modi's consistent stance on the bilateral nature of the issue.
