Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended warm wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday and lauded the significant transformation the country has experienced in the past decade under Modi's leadership.
Highlighting Modi's efforts towards rapid economic growth, Sinha noted that India now stands as the world's fourth-largest economy, pulling millions out of poverty. September 17 to October 2 has been marked as 'sewa parv', celebrating from Modi's birthday to Mahatma Gandhi's.
In observance of the event, Sinha distributed fruits to patients at Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Hospital, while other celebratory gestures occurred across the region. Omar Abdullah and others sent their greetings, reflecting wider national pride in Modi's achievements.
