Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of his 75th birthday, praising his leadership, vision, and lifelong dedication to the service of the nation. In a series of posts on the X platform, Shri Shah described PM Modi as a symbol of sacrifice and commitment who has transformed governance in India and inspired millions with his unwavering principle of “Nation First.”

Shri Amit Shah noted that PM Modi’s public life spans over five decades, during which he has worked tirelessly for the welfare of citizens. From his days as a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak to becoming a party karyakarta, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and now serving as Prime Minister for 11 years, Shri Modi’s journey, according to Shah, reflects a rare blend of integrity, determination, and visionary leadership.

“When determination is as steadfast as the Himalayas and vision as vast as the ocean, the possibilities for far-reaching transformation are boundless,” Shri Shah remarked, highlighting Modi’s ability to blend decisiveness with inclusivity.

The Home Minister credited PM Modi with bringing integrity to governance, firmness in decision-making, and clarity in policies. He emphasized that the Prime Minister has placed the marginalized, backward, poor, women, and tribal communities at the centre of governance, ensuring that India’s development story is inclusive and people-centric.

Shri Shah observed that, in the last 11 years, PM Modi has delivered infrastructure projects and reforms once thought unimaginable—from the longest bridge in Assam, the world’s tallest Chenab railway bridge in Kashmir, to semiconductor manufacturing units and a cutting-edge digital public infrastructure.

Highlighting India’s economic progress, Shri Shah said that under PM Modi’s leadership, India has surged from being the 11th largest economy to the fourth largest. He added that global institutions, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF), now call India a “bright spot” in the global economy, with the highest growth rate in the world.

He also pointed out that 600 million Indians are coming out of poverty, attributing this to policies that simultaneously promote economic growth and welfare. Shri Shah remarked that Modi has shown how development and social welfare can progress together, breaking the traditional belief that they are mutually exclusive.

Shri Shah underscored that PM Modi’s stature extends beyond India’s borders, with 27 countries awarding him their highest civilian honours, earning him the title of “Vishwamitra Modi”. This, he said, reflects the world’s recognition of Modi as a problem-solving leader who brings dialogue, stability, and vision at a time of international conflict and uncertainty.

Under his leadership, India has emerged as a centre of global aspirations—from becoming the first nation to reach the Moon’s South Pole to advancing deep-sea missions in Dwarka. Shri Shah lauded Modi’s success in strengthening India’s space sector, indigenous defense systems, healthcare, and manufacturing base, particularly the development of indigenous COVID-19 vaccines and startups driving innovation.
