Union Home Minister Amit Shah engaged with BJP leaders and workers from Rohtas and Begusarai districts to strategize for the upcoming assembly elections, a party source disclosed. The interaction is part of a concerted effort to strengthen the party's grip in regions where the NDA has underperformed.
State BJP president Dilip Jaiswal highlighted that Amit Shah was set to engage with leaders and workers across 10 districts within the Magadh-Shahabad area during his session at Dehri-on-Sone on Thursday. This industrial township, located 50 km from the state capital, served as the strategic venue for the crucial meeting.
Shah's visit to Begusarai, the parliamentary turf of Union minister Giriraj Singh, involved interactions with representatives from an additional 10 districts. The outreach aims to rejuvenate the party's prospects across pivotal regions, despite the NDA's solid standing in Patna and Munger. Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha remarked on the motivational impact of Shah's timely visit, which he believed would contribute to the BJP's election-winning confidence.
