Union Home Minister Amit Shah is poised to meet BJP leaders and party workers in Rohtas and Begusarai districts on Thursday, announced a party official. This interaction is part of the preparation for imminent assembly elections.
State BJP President Dilip Jaiswal previously stated that Shah would connect with leaders from 10 districts of the Magadh-Shahabad region at Dehri-on-Sone, an industrial township 50 km away from the state capital, during his visit. Additionally, Shah will visit Begusarai, the parliamentary constituency of Union Minister Giriraj Singh, to meet with other party leaders and workers.
Sources indicated that Shah is particularly concerned about the NDA's relatively weak performance in areas such as Rohtas, Buxar, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Gaya, Nawada, Arwal, Jehanabad, and Aurangabad. Although Patna and Munger remain NDA strongholds, Shah is focused on ensuring a sweeping victory for the BJP and its allies. Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha remarked that Shah's visit boosts their confidence in securing election victories.
