AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Assam unit for releasing an AI-generated video that he describes as 'defamatory' and 'genocidal.' Owaisi claims the video depicts Muslims as a threat, suggesting a Muslim-majority Assam if the BJP did not exist, and calls for immediate action against those involved.

Owaisi took to platform X to argue that the video is part of a broader 'Hindutva' agenda aimed at intimidating and sidelining Muslim communities in India. According to the AIMIM leader, the video surpasses mere political campaigning, reflecting an ideology aspiring to create a nation void of Muslims. Owaisi accused the BJP of having no substantial vision for India beyond eliminating Muslim influence.

The controversy comes as Owaisi highlights a Patna High Court order demanding the removal of a different video depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother. He insists the same standards apply to the Assam video. Meanwhile, the BJP's video, titled 'Assam without BJP,' controversially portrays Muslims as illegal immigrants, implicating Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Gaurav Gogoi in a supposed 'Pakistan link.'
