On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized previous secular administrations at the Centre, holding them responsible for India's delayed progress in becoming a global power.
Speaking at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Mahotsav Mela in Mathura, Adityanath highlighted India's transformation over the last 11 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attributing it to the ethos of Deendayal Upadhyaya. He pointed to initiatives like 'Vocal for Local' and the successful removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir as examples of what was once deemed impossible now becoming reality.
Emphasizing the potential of the youth, Adityanath remarked that today's young Indians are poised to be job creators. The CM Yuva Scheme is facilitating this transition by offering interest-free loans of up to Rs five lakh. The event featured various exhibitions on indigenous products and initiatives for women's self-reliance.
