Rijiju Criticizes Rahul Gandhi over Electoral Defeats

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, urging him to accept responsibility for his party's continued electoral setbacks rather than targeting democratic institutions.

Rijiju's remarks, made on Friday, come after Gandhi accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of shielding those involved in 'vote theft'. Gandhi further claimed that Congress supporters' names were being removed from the Karnataka electoral rolls. The Election Commission has labeled Gandhi's allegations as 'incorrect and baseless'.

The minister insisted that recognizing leadership failures is essential, rather than shifting blame. He accused Gandhi of perpetuating narratives that resonate with anti-India elements and reiterated the need for constructive debates in Parliament over disruptive tactics. Rijiju also highlighted how persistent disruptions hinder crucial legislative progress.
