India's Unyielding Commitment to Security and Economic Prosperity

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh affirmed the NDA government's resolve to protect India's sovereignty through decisive military actions like the 2016 surgical strike, the 2019 Balakot airstrike, and the recent Operation Sindoor.

At the 'JITO Connect' event held by the Jain International Trade Organisation, Singh stressed that India's military efforts aim not at domination but at safeguarding core values derived from faith and moral principles. He stated that India has consistently targeted terrorist threats, not military or civilian infrastructure.

Singh also focused on India's economic progress, noting a dramatic increase in defense exports from Rs 600 crore to over Rs 24,000 crore since the NDA assumed power. He emphasized the country's movement towards self-reliance and anticipated that India will become a global manufacturing hub and the third-largest economy by 2030.
