The CPI and CPI(M) are intensifying their demand for 35 seats in the upcoming Bihar polls as part of the Mahagathbandhan, advocating for the opposition alliance to conclude seat-sharing proceedings without delay.
The parties also urge the declaration of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate. Both CPI and CPI(M) express concern that any further postponement in finalizing their demand may risk political instability in the state.
Highlighting their previous electoral success, the leaders argue that their grassroots network and organizational strength are instrumental in enhancing the Mahagathbandhan's prospects, urging larger parties within the coalition to accede to their request to strengthen the campaign against the ruling NDA.
