In a significant revelation, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal A P Singh reported substantial damage to Pakistani military assets following India's Operation Sindoor. At least a dozen Pakistani aircraft, including F-16 jets, were said to be destroyed during the operation, contradicting Islamabad's claims of India's losses as 'fanciful stories'.

The strikes targeted multiple military infrastructures in Pakistan, resulting in damage to hangars, radars, command centers, and runways. Air Chief Marshal Singh dismissed Pakistan's narrative as 'Manohar Kahaniyan', urging them to present evidence of their assertions.

As the Indian Air Force plans to enhance its combat capabilities under Roadmap 2047, it seeks to procure 35 to 40 new aircraft annually. Singh also indicated potential procurement of additional S-400 air defense systems following their notable performance in the operation.
