Banerjee questioned the presence of cameras during Modi's unscheduled stop and alleged that the BJP-led government aims to control dietary habits. She further denounced the influence allegedly exerted on electoral processes and voter registration throughout the state.

During her electoral campaigns, Banerjee reiterated her party's commitment to women's reservation and secular values, while blaming the BJP for attempts to divide Bengal and manipulate elections with external forces. She called for vigilance among voters and vowed to fight against the BJP's tactics in upcoming elections.
