Assam's Political Milestone: Himanta Biswa Sarma's Second Term and the Rise of NDA 3.0

On Tuesday, Assam bore witness to a momentous occasion in its political landscape as Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was sworn in for his second consecutive term. The grand oath-taking ceremony was held at the Khanapara Veterinary College Field in Guwahati, symbolizing the dawn of the 'NDA 3.0 era' in the state. Meanwhile, Riniki Bhuyan Sharma, wife of CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, expressed gratitude to Assam's citizens for their trust in her husband's governance and developmental goals. Her remarks came as a response to allegations from Congress leader Pawan Khera, who claimed discrepancies in Sarma's election affidavit related to undisclosed foreign properties and alleged multiple foreign passports held by Riniki. Despite these controversies, she emphasized public support for Sarma's development-focused politics.
