Political Turmoil in Kerala: RSP Criticizes Delay in CM Selection

The Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), a constituent of the United Democratic Front (UDF), has expressed dissatisfaction over the Congress's delay in choosing a Chief Minister for Kerala. This delay has been referred to as politically unclear by the RSP's Member of Parliament, N K Premachandran.

In conversations with Congress observers, the RSP made its stance clear. Premachandran emphasized that the party's dissatisfaction stems from the prolonged decision-making process, saying the ten-day delay since the elections reflects poorly, especially when a robust analysis of the Left government's policies should be the focal point. This period of indecision is creating unrest among ground-level workers and the public.

Moreover, Premachandran highlighted that coalition partners are currently at a loss when queried about prospective leadership. He urged the Congress to hasten its decision to avoid potential political fallout and maintain the trust of the electorate.
