Outgoing Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan attended a meeting with Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, marking the end of his term following his party's electoral defeat.
Vijayan expressed gratitude towards the governor during the meeting, described as cordial and warm in an official statement released by Lok Bhavan.
The Congress-led United Democratic Front secured a decisive victory in the Kerala Assembly elections, replacing the Left Democratic Front and thus prompting Vijayan's resignation.
