Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has called on the Uttar Pradesh government to urgently ramp up relief operations following devastating storms that claimed 54 lives.
Expressing his sorrow on social media platform X, Yadav highlighted the severe impact of storms that lashed Bhadohi, Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Badaun, and other areas.
Yadav emphasized the need for immediate medical assistance, adequate food, and shelter, while also ensuring dignified last rites for the deceased. He urged a swift assessment of damages to expedite insurance claims and compensation.
