Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has delivered a scathing critique of the Centre, following widespread reports of post-poll violence in West Bengal. Banerjee accused the central government of electoral manipulation during the recent Assembly elections, condemning the abuse of power and denouncing the central forces as 'mute spectators' to the violence.
In a heartfelt statement, Banerjee expressed gratitude to the party's supporters and emphasized that the Trinamool Congress will pursue legal avenues to contest the election's irregularities. He recounted how party candidates and agents were forcibly removed during vote counting, highlighting the rampant post-poll violence despite assurances of protection from the Centre.

He pledged to challenge each reported injustice and irregularity through legal means, confident in the Supreme Court and democratic institutions' integrity. Despite the TMC's electoral setback, he urged the people of Bengal to remain united and resilient in the face of adversity.
