In a harrowing incident, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi President Saurabh Bharadwaj expressed profound sorrow over the tragic death of a NEET aspirant by suicide. The aspirant, who had placed immense hope in clearing the NEET UG 2026 exam, reportedly took her own life after the exam's cancellation due to a paper leak scandal.

Bharadwaj, alongside former MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi and other AAP leaders, visited the grieving family in Azadpur. He raised serious questions regarding the integrity of the ongoing Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe, alleging potential cover-ups intended to shield influential culprits behind the leak. His plea to the government is to ensure such lapses do not recur, urging young minds to seek support instead of resorting to drastic measures.

The controversy deepened as the CBI apprehended P V Kulkarni, a Chemistry professor implicated in disseminating the leaked exam papers. This incident has cast a shadow on the examination process managed by the National Testing Agency, underscoring the urgent need to restore students' trust. Bharadwaj passionately called for transparency, urging authorities to name and shame all involved, including any politicians and officials who may have facilitated such illicit activities.
