TMC's Resolute Quest for Justice Amid Post-Poll Turmoil in West Bengal

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has taken active measures in response to purported violence against its workers following the recent assembly elections in West Bengal. Fact-finding teams have been dispatched to South 24 Parganas, Purba Medinipur, and Hooghly to assess accusations of intimidation by BJP-backed groups.

Rajya Sabha MP Dola Sen emphasized the plight of party workers, stating that many have suffered from violence leading to displacement and vandalism. The TMC's initiative is driven by Mamata Banerjee's directive to support those affected and ensure their safe return. The Calcutta High Court has ordered the state to uphold law and order amidst these allegations.

The party's posts on X highlight ongoing fears in areas like Hooghly, where gruesome incidents were reported, including the murder of a panchayat member's husband. TMC remains persistent in seeking justice, holding perpetrators accountable, and challenging the narratives of fear and violence allegedly perpetuated by the opposition.
