Union Minister's Son Joins POCSO Case Probe Amidst Commitment to Justice

Union Minister of State for Home, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, announced on Saturday that his son has engaged with the investigation into the alleged POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case filed against him. The minister highlighted his commitment to the legal process, stating that his son, Bandi Bhageerath, appeared before the Telangana Police through legal representation.

Bandi Sanjay reiterated his earlier stance that the law treats everyone equally, regardless of their status. He emphasized that his son maintains innocence, and after consulting with legal experts, they decided to cooperate fully with the investigation. The minister expressed his commitment to respecting the judiciary, even as court proceedings continue and orders are anticipated next week.

Despite the ongoing legal matter, Bandi Sanjay expressed unwavering confidence in the justice system, stating that while justice may be delayed, it will not be denied. He indicated that there should be no reluctance in assisting with the inquiry as ordered by the legal team.
