Edappadi K Palaniswami, the general secretary of AIADMK, has proclaimed Salem district as a solid bastion for his party. Speaking to party members at the AIADMK office in Omalur, he emphasized that the recent elections reinforce Salem's status as a key support area for AIADMK.
Palaniswami highlighted that out of the 11 constituencies in Salem, AIADMK secured victories in seven, a testament to the party's enduring popularity. Notably, Palaniswami expressed gratitude to the voters of the Edappadi constituency, where he achieved a landslide victory, defeating independent Premkumar K by a substantial margin.
