A fatal accident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan's Kota district resulted in the death of four individuals, police reported on Wednesday. A car, carrying a family of three and two others, collided with a speedometer pole around 11 pm on Tuesday.
The victims were en route from Gujarat to Uttar Pradesh when the crash occurred near Sunkhedi pullia. Among the deceased were Satish Chand Goyal, his wife Kusum, their daughter Ritika, and car driver Shailendra Singh. The family's traumatic end adds to the growing concern over road safety.
Only Vishal, who was also in the vehicle, survived and has since been discharged from the hospital. The Goyal family originated from Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, while the driver and Vishal were residents of Chapra district, Bihar. The bodies await post-mortem as their relatives have been informed.
