Evacuation Follows Thane Building Collapse

A partial collapse of a single-storey building in Thane's Uthalsar area on Sunday led to the evacuation of residents, although no injuries were reported.

The building, 40 to 45 years old, was deemed unsafe, falling under the 'C2B category,' and housed seven flats, three of which were occupied.

Disaster management officials quickly evacuated the inhabitants, urging them to stay with relatives as safety precautions were implemented.
