The national capital, Delhi, is expected to witness generally cloudy skies along with light rain or drizzle on Wednesday, as forecasted by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The IMD also anticipated rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in several parts of the city late Tuesday.
Some areas of Delhi received rainfall in the afternoon, according to the weather department, which indicated that no alert had been issued for the city. The maximum temperature recorded was 35.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled around 26.7 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the relative humidity was recorded at 64 percent as of 5:30 pm.
As per the forecast, Delhi is likely to experience similar weather conditions on Wednesday, with the maximum temperature predicted to hover around 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 27 degrees Celsius. The city's air quality remains in the 'satisfactory' category, showing an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 89. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has categorized the AQI as 'satisfactory' for values between 51 and 100.
