Leaders Advocate for Flood Relief and Inter-State Coordination in Punjab

Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse conducted a visit to flood-stricken areas in Punjab's Patiala, assessing the situation and engaging with affected families. She was joined by former Union Minister Preneet Kaur during the visit.
The leaders toured the severely impacted villages, acknowledging the devastation caused by the Tangri, Markanda, and Ghaggar rivers. Khadse noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has instructed all Union ministers to visit impacted areas, interact with farmers, and deliver detailed assessments.
Kaur highlighted the need for inter-state coordination with Haryana and Rajasthan to address the crisis, given the extensive crop loss in Punjab. Both leaders assured farmers that their issues will be taken to the Prime Minister, advocating for immediate relief and long-term solutions.
