Authorities reported that these big cats appeared to have been killed by other tigers in territorial skirmishes.
The 'Balaghat Male Tiger', a well-known figure frequently seen by visitors, was found deceased in the reserve's Mukhi range. Post-mortem examinations revealed telltale injuries on its trachea, consistent with fatal wounds inflicted during a struggle with another tiger.
