Amidst thick, rising smoke, several fire tenders were deployed to control the flames at the affected premises. The Doraha Station House Officer, Akash Dutt, confirmed the casualties.
Two critically injured victims, Meena and Anjali of Kaddon village, were shifted for advanced care in Ludhiana, while the other five received medical attention locally. The cause of the explosion remains undetermined as police continue their investigation.
